Wie zu erwarten, werden wie bei früheren Kriegen, sei es bei Milosevic im Jugoslawienkrieg, beim Saddam Hussein, Putin und nun auch der Hamas schnell Hitler- und Nazivergleiche gebracht. Im Falle Israels zumal allemal mehr, auch beidseitig, da es sich ja auch Juden handelt. Dass im Krieg die Wahrheit das erste Opfer sei, ist da eine so gerne geäußerte Ansicht, die zwar einiges Wahres hat, aber auch oft dazu taugt, um Verbrechen zu relativieren oder aber als Fake News darzustellen oder um eine eigene Positionierung zu meiden und sich auf einen scheinbar neutralen Standpunkt des Zuschauens zurückzulehnen. So wird nun auch seitens der Netanjahu- Regierung das Hamasmassaker und die Hamasattacke als „das schlimmste Massaker seit dem Holocaust“ und mit dem Massaker der SS und ukrainischer Nationalisten um Banderra an Juden in Babya Yar“ verglichen, wobei auch der jüdischstämmige ukrainische Präsident Selensky, den wiederum Putin-Russland als Nazi beschimpft, der einen Genozid gegen die russisch sprachige Donbass-Ukrainer geplant hätte, zur Unterstützung Israels als auch Israelbesuchen von hochrangigen Politkern wie in Kiew aufruft. Jedenfalls wird die Hamas nun mit den Nazis, der SS und dem Islamischen Staat gleichgesetzt:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said Tuesday that the premier had told US President Joe Biden during a phone call that the savagery seen during Hamas’s onslaught against Israeli civilians was the worst since the mass tragedies of the Holocaust, casting the Palestinian terror group as worse than the Islamic State group.

Netanyahu spoke with Biden Tuesday for the third time since the war’s outbreak on Saturday.
In a readout of his call with Biden, Netanyahu’s office said the prime minister told the US leader: “We’ve never seen such savagery in the history of the state” nor “since the Holocaust.”
“They took dozens of children, bound them up, burned them and executed them. They beheaded soldiers, they mowed down these youngsters who came to a nature festival, you know, put five jeeps around this depression in the soil and like Babyn Yar, they mowed them down, making sure that they killed everybody,” he said, referring to a desert rave where some 260 people were massacred and others were abducted to the Gaza Strip.
“They’re even worse than ISIS and we need to treat them as such,” Netanyahu said, a message that has been used by multiple Israeli ministries and many Israel advocates online, as well as by Biden himself.
The prime minister thanked Biden for his full backing and told him that Israel’s military campaign would be lengthy.
An Egyptian official told The Times of Israel earlier Tuesday that Jerusalem had informed Cairo that it is readying for a months-long ground incursion into Gaza and is not interested in talk of de-escalation in the interim.

In an emotional live address to his nation shortly after his call with Netanyahu, which was broadcast widely live in the US and Israel, Biden promised to ensure that the Jewish state would have what it needs to respond to the shocking weekend assault and disclosed some unprecedented and explicit details of the “sheer evil” inflicted by Hamas against Israel.
“There are moments in this life — I mean this literally — when a pure unadulterated evil is unleashed on this world,” Biden said in a hushed voice during a speech shown live on many American and Israeli television channels. “This is an act of sheer evil.”
“Parents butchered, using their bodies to try to protect their children; stomach-turning reports of babies being killed; entire families slain; young people massacred while attending a musical festival… women raped, assaulted, paraded as trophies,” he recounted with horror.
“The brutality of Hamas — this bloodthirstiness — brings to mind the worst — the worst rampages of ISIS,” he said.
“There are still so many families desperately waiting to hear the fate of their loved ones. Not knowing if they’re alive or dead or [being held] hostage. Infants in their mother’s arms, grandparents in wheelchairs, Holocaust survivors abducted and held hostage.”
“This is terrorism. But sadly, for the Jewish people, it’s not new,” Biden continued. “This attack has brought to the surface painful memories and the scars left by a millennia of antisemitism and genocide of the Jewish people.”
While he very carefully avoided voicing any criticism of Israel’s response to the Hamas attacks — airstrikes in Gaza that have left hundreds dead, including civilians — Biden did appear to implore Jerusalem to uphold international law in its counteroffensive against Hamas.
Biden said he had spoken with Netanyahu about “how democracies like Israel and the United States are stronger and more secure when we act according to the rule of law.”
“Terrorist purposely targets civilians, kill them. We uphold the laws of war,” he added.
The death toll in Israel from Hamas’s shock attack has surpassed 1,200, with close to 3,000 injured and the fate of an estimated 150 people abducted and taken to the Gaza Strip still unclear.

Was ich jetzt schreibe, dachte ich bis vergangenen Samstag würde ich niemals schreiben müssen, aber seit das ganze Ausmaß der pogromartigen Massaker bekannt wird, das Hamas und Verbündete in Kibbuzim, Moshavim und anderen israelischen Ortschaften anrichteten, muss es wohl gesagt werden.
Bislang dachte ich das, was der Islamische Staat im Namen Allahs unter Jesidinnen und Jesiden im Sinjar 2014 anrichtete, sei der barbarische Höhepunkt islamistischen Terrors gewesen. Aber eines taten sogar die IS-Killer nicht: Sie töteten nicht systematisch Kleinkinder und sogar Säuglinge und schnitten ihnen die Köpfe ab. Zumindest ist mir das, und ich habe mich mit deren Verbrechen in den letzten Jahren viel zu viel auseinandersetzen müssen, so nicht untergekommen.
Das war sogar für sie eine Art roter Linie. Stattdessen verschleppten sie diese Kinder, um sie zu Muslimen umzuerziehen. Nicht so die Killer der Hamas und anderer islamistischer Gruppen (wer weiß, vielleicht auch der so genannten Linken von PFLP und DFLP, die ja mit ihnen verbündet sind), selbst diese rote Linie galten für sie nicht.
Mit dem IS aber haben sie gemein, dass sie ihre Verbrechen auch noch zelebrieren und verbreiten und nicht etwa zu verheimlichen versuchen. Dabei müsste sogar in Gaza Stadt im HQ der Hamas bekannt sein, dass eigentlich durch alle historischen Perioden hindurch und religions- und kulturübergreifend jene als schlimmste Barbaren galten und gelten, die sich gezielt an Säuglingen und Kleinkindern vergreifen.
Sie stellen sich damit bewusst auf eine Stufe mit jenen Killerkommandos von SS und Polizei, die im von ihnen besetzten Osteuropa genau dies zwischen 1941 und 1945 taten.

Welche Quellen gibt es für die Behauptung, dass Hamas gezielt Kleinkinder und Babys tötet und ihnen den Kopf abgeschnitten haben soll? Das wäre allerdings ein erheblicher Unterschied zu dem ohnehin schon barbarischen IS. Aber woher stammt das? Nicht, dass das Kriegspropaganda ist, wie damals die Falschaussage der Kuweiterin, wonach Saddam Husseins Truppen Babys aus den Brutkästen genommen und getötet hätten oder Rudolf Scharping mit der Behauptung serbische Soldaten würden bosnischen schwangeren Frauen die Bäuche aufschlitzen und die Föten herausnehmen Das war damals alles gelogen, wie auch die angeblichen Massenvernichtungswaffen von Saddam Hussein, um Stimmung zu machen. Umgekehrt bedeutet es aber auch nicht, dass der Vergleich der Hamas mit der SS und dem Islamischen Staat jetzt nicht wahr sein könnten. Aber auch ohne Kindsmord, reicht das geschehene Massaker, der liquidatorische Antisemitismus , die Charta und das Wesen der Hamas schon alleine aus, um deren Ausschaltung zu befürworten.Zumal sie ja sogar eien Einsmarsch Israels in den Gaza samt dann zu erwartendem Blutbad und „Gaza Holocaust“ scheinbar provozieren wollte, vielleicht auch in der Hoffnung da mittels seiner Tunnelsysteme und Häuserkämpfe in eiener Art Kriegssumpf untergehen zu lassen. Rücksicht auf die eigene Bevölkerung nehmen Hamas und Islamisten da nicht,ja je massiger der heilige Märtyrertod desto besser.

Eine Raveparty endete am Samstag im größten Massaker an Zivilisten, dass es in der Geschichte Israels bisher gab: Über 260 Menschen wurden von Hamas-Kämpfern ermordet, hunderte schwer verletzt und dutzende in den Gazastreifen verschleppt.
Wie sich nun herausstellt, wusste die Hamas sehr genau, dass dieses Fest am vergangenen Wochenende in der Nähe der Grenze stattfand und sendete Einheiten dorthin, um gezielt ein möglichst großes Blutbad anzurichten:
„Participants have described a nightmarish massacre, with terrorists — who had apparently known in advance of the event and directed significant forces there — surrounding the participants and cutting down dozens of them with rifle fire, then moving through the area and hunting people in hiding to execute or capture.
Überlebende berichten von Szenen, die kaum noch beschreibbar sind. Festzuhalten ist aber: Was die Hamas da anrichtete, wie auf Verletzte noch geschossen wurde, Menschen gejagt und niedergestreckt, Frauen offenbar auch vergewaltigt wurden, bevor man sie tötete, wurde von dafür ausgewählten und angewiesenen Milizionäre ausgeführt und keineswegs von einem wildgewordenen Mob. Was da geschah erinnerte an die Aktionen von den berüchtigten Einsatzgruppen der SS an der Ostfront.
Dabei ging es keineswegs nur darum, Angst und Schrecken zu verbreiten, vielmehr bestand der Zweck darin, im Kleinen zu zeigen, was „Befreiung vom Meer bis zu den Bergen“ bedeutet: also die Zerstörung Israels, wie sie als Ziel im Programm der Hamas festgeschrieben ist — nämlich Massenmord.
Dazu passt, dass auf Hamas-nahen Seiten das Blutbad auch als Befreiung gefeiert wird. Und nicht nur das: Ausdrücklich betonte der Sprecher der Hamas, Osama Hamdan, gegenüber Al Jazerra, man greife keine Zivilisten an:
„You have to differentiate between settlers and civilians.“ (…)
Hamdan claimed that civilians living across towns near the Israeli border with Gaza, which has long hemmed in more than 2 million people, could also be considered settlers, comparable to the hundreds of thousands of Israeli settlers living across Palestinian territories in the West Bank.
“We are not targeting civilians on purpose. We have declared settlers are part of the occupation and part of the armed Israeli force. They are not civilians,” he said.“
Wer Siedler und wer Zivilist ist, das zu bestimmen nimmt selbstredend die Hamas für sich in Anspruch, so wie Goebbels einst klar stellte, dass er bestimme, wer Jude sei und wer nicht. Meinen tun sie damit dasselbe: Es liegt nur an ihnen, zu entscheiden, wer ein Recht auf Leben hat und wer nicht. „Siedler“ haben dies in den Augen der Hamas nicht und was mit ihnen zu geschehen habe, das hat sie am Samstag vor aller Augen vorgeführt.
Was sie und ihre Schutzpatrone in Teheran meinen, wenn sie davon sprechen, das „Krebsgeschwür Israel“ müsse wegoperiert werden, wusste, wer es wissen wollte, immer. Wie diese Operation konkret dann aussehen wird, müsste dagegen spätestens seit Samstag jedem klar geworden sein.
So wie die Nazis noch jedes Kleinkind und jede Achtzigjährige aufzuspüren versuchten, um sie entweder an Ort und Stelle zu ermorden oder in die Lager zu verschicken, so machten auch die Milizionäre von Hamas und verbündeten islamistischen Organisationen vor niemandem halt: Sie alle sind „Siedler“ und damit zum Tode verurteilt.
Dass selbst solche Aktionen, bei denen unübersehbar klar geworden ist, worum es der Hamas geht, auch noch Unterstützung und Zustimmung unter so genannten palästinensischen Linken finden, rundet das Bild des absoluten Grauens nur noch ab:

Zuvor war es im Gaza auch noch zu Protesten gegen die Hamas gekommen von dem Gaza Youth Movement, wobei die Hamas Abbas und die PLO angriff, dass diese die rebellischen Gazajugendlichen unterstützen würde, um die Hamasdikatur zu stürzen und den Gaza dann auch unter Herrschaft der Palästensichen Autonomiebehörde zu stellen.
Interessant dazu auch das Gaza Youth Movement und seine Erklärung. Aber für wieviele Jugendliche im Gaza es spricht bleibt unklar, ob nicht auch viele desperate Jugendliche Hamas und Islamischer Jihad unterstützen, auch ob es überhaupt eine Rolle spielen kann, wenn es sich nicht selbst bewaffnet. Oder mal wieder die vielgerühmten unbewaffneten Twitterrevolutionäre des Arabischen Frühlings? Jedenfalls hatte die Gaza Youth Movement scheinbar nicht genug Stärke, um die Hamas ernsthaft zu schwächen, zu stürzen oder gar deren jetzige Masaakerattacken auf Israel zu verhindern:

In ihm wendete sich der Aktivist des ‚Gaza Youth Movement“ Mohammed Altlooli mit einer Botschaft für Frieden und Koexistenz an europäische Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer der Palästinenser
Liebe Freunde des palästinensischen Volkes,
ich wende mich an Euch in diesen schrecklichen und dunklen Zeiten. Wieder einmal regnen Bomben auf Gaza, meine gequälte Heimat, und ich mache mir Sorgen um das Leben und das Wohlergehen meiner Familie, meiner Freunde und meiner Kollegen. Die Menschen in Gaza leben seit langem in Verzweiflung und Armut und sehnen sich nach einer besseren Zukunft.

Wir, die junge Generation, die aufgewachsen ist, ohne etwas anderes als diese Situation zu kennen, sind diejenigen, die auch den Preis zahlen werden, wenn sich nichts ändert. Ich selbst musste vor einiger Zeit aus Gaza fliehen, weil ich zusammen mit Gleichgesinnten gegen die Herrschaft des Hamas-Regimes protestierte. Wir haben das getan, was Millionen anderer Araber in der Region auch taten: Wir forderten mehr Freiheit und ein Ende von Korruption und Gewalt. Wenn man aber in Gaza seine Stimme gegen das Regime erhebt, wird man unterdrückt und sogar ins Gefängnis gesteckt. Sie fürchten uns, die junge Generation, viel mehr als ihren erklärten Feind Israel, weil sie wissen, dass sie uns nichts anderes zu bieten haben als Zerstörung, Schmerz und Armut.
Wir wollen beides: In Gaza in Freiheit leben und nicht weiter unter der Blockade und Repressionen Israels leiden müssen. Aber unser Leben findet zwischen Hammer und Amboss statt: Wir leiden unter einem intoleranten, repressiven Regime auf der einen Seite und unter der israelischen Einschnürung auf der anderen. Wir haben keine Luft zum Atmen.
Trotzdem wir haben uns der hasserfüllten Propaganda unserer Herrscher widersetzt und als „Gaza Youth Movement“ die Botschaft an die Israelis gesendet: Wir wollen Seite an Seite mit Euch in Frieden leben, aber gleichberechtigt und nicht in einem großen Gefängnis. Wir wollen eine gemeinsame Zukunft mit unseren israelischen Nachbarn und ein Ende des Krieges, des Tötens und des Hasses.
Juden und Araber sind keine Feinde
Tragischerweise wurden diese Hoffnungen letzte Woche erneut zerstört, als der Krieg zwischen der Hamas und der israelischen Armee erneut ausbrach. Wir weigern uns, dies einen Krieg zwischen Palästinensern und Israelis zu nennen. Denn selbst wenn ich die Zerstörung in Gaza sehe, empfinde ich keinen Hass gegen die Bevölkerung Israels. Ich weiß, dass viele Israelis selbst in Angst leben und sich in Schutzräumen verstecken müssen, viele wurden getötet und verletzt. Das ist nicht mein Krieg, es ist nicht der Krieg derjenigen, die sich wie ich nach einer besseren Zukunft sehnen. Wir sehen die Bilder von Arabern und Juden, die in Haifa, Nazareth und woanders für ein friedliches Zusammenleben und gegen den Hass gerade demonstrieren. Ihr Motto lautet: Juden und Araber sind keine Feinde.
Die Menschen in Gaza, die wie ich denken, können aber nicht demonstrieren. Jeder Protest würde in Blutvergießen und im Gefängnis enden. Aber seien Sie bitte versichert: Obwohl uns in der Schule Hass beigebracht wird und wir so viel hasserfüllte Propaganda hören, in dieser Zeit sind viele von uns in unseren Herzen bei den Demonstrationen auf der anderen Seite des Zauns.
Die Hamas spricht nicht in unserem Namen
Wenn Ihr wirklich Freunde der Palästinenser seid, denkt bitte daran, dass die Hamas uns nicht vertritt; sie spricht gerne in unserem Namen, aber sie tut es in Wahrheit nicht. Wir lehnen es ab, dass sie unsere Stimme sein sollen. Unsere Stimme ist anders: es ist die Stimme des Friedens.
Und dann sehen wir die Demonstrationen in Europa, bei denen leider auch furchtbare Parolen gegen Juden und Israel gerufen werden. Wir hören auf einigen den selben Hass, den wir in den Propagandakanälen der Hamas hören. Wer unser wahrer Freund sein will, sollte nicht so reden! Wir wollen und verdienen solche Freunde nicht! Seit langer Zeit behaupten so viele Menschen, sie seien unsere Freunde, aber in Wirklichkeit geht es ihnen nur um den Hass auf Israel und die Juden. Das ist falsch: es widerspricht unseren Absichten und Überzeugungen und es schadet außerdem der gerechten Sache des palästinensischen Volkes. Wir wollen in Frieden, Würde und Selbstbestimmung Seite an Seite mit den Israelis leben. Wir wollen Gerechtigkeit und Freiheit. Wir wollen keinen Krieg und keine Zerstörung.
Wie kann jemand jemals unseren Absichten Glauben schenken, wenn solche hasserfüllten Parolen auf den Straßen Europas und des Nahen Ostens in unserem Namen gerufen werden? Das wirft ein falsches Bild auf uns.
Wir brauchen wirkliche Freunde
Viele die gerade solche Parolen rufen, behaupten, sie seien unsere Freunde, aber sie sind falsche Freunde. Sie schaden uns und lassen ein falsches Bild von uns entstehen. Wir wollen keine Antisemiten, Nazis und Israel-Hasser als Freunde. Wir brauchen friedliebende, progressive Menschen auf unserer Seite, die unsere Ziele teilen. Wir wollen nicht, dass Juden in Europa Angst vor uns haben. Wir wollen, dass jeder versteht, dass es im Nahen Osten nur eine Zukunft für alle geben kann, eine gemeinsame Zukunft in einer friedlichen und prosperierenden Region.
Wenn Ihr zu unseren wirklichen Freunden gehören wollt, tut uns bitte einen großen Gefallen und distanziert Euch von diesen Menschen, die Hass verbreiten, lasst nicht zu, dass auch sie in unseren Namen zu sprechen versuchen. Bitte verbreitet stattdessen unsere Botschaft von Frieden und Gerechtigkeit.
Vielleicht ist diese Botschaft heute bloß eine zarte Pflanze. Wir alle können aber zusammenarbeiten, damit sie zu einem großen Baum zu wird. Wir wissen, dass es bei uns in Gaza noch nicht so viele gibt, die so denken wie wir, aber oft in der Vergangenheit wurden wichtige Veränderungen von einer kleinen Gruppe losgetreten. Und wir hoffen, dass dieser Baum eines Tages groß genug sein wird, damit wir alle unter seiner Krone Schatten finden.
Bitte demonstriert für uns, erhebt Eure Stimme. Bitte erhebt sie gegen die falsche und zerstörerische Politik der israelischen Regierung. Bitte erhebt Eure Stimme aber auch gegen das, was die Hamas anrichtet.
Bitte stellt Euch auf die Seite des palästinensischen Volkes und unserer gerechten Sache.
Aber bitte tut es nicht gemeinsam mit diesen falschen Freunden.

Dss beginnt schon mit der Sprachregelung von Gaza oder gar auch der Westbank als „dem größten Open Air KZ“ oder „weltweit größtem (Völker)- Gefängnis“ und nachdem Abbas schon faselte, dass Hitler die Juden nicht wegen ihrer Rasse oder Religion, sondern wegen ihrer Rolle als zwielichtige Geldhändler umgebracht hätte und von „50 Holocausts“, die Israel an den Palästinensern begangen habe, schwadronierte.legt nun die Tehran Times nach und warnt vor einem „Gaza Holocaust“, Genozid und einer Strategie der verbrannten Erde seitens Israels. Iran, der wie alle Islamisten und auch die Hamas, die Juden und Israelis gerne auslöschen würde, keine Zweistaatenlösung, sondern die Auslöschung und Rückeroberung Israels samt Jerusalem und der Al Quds- Moschee in Jerusalem offiziell als Ziel erklärt, internationale Holocaustkarikaturenwettbewerbe im Iran nicht nur unter Holocaustleugner Ahmadinedschad abhielt, trommelt da zum Krieg, da ein „Gaza Holocaust“ vermieden werden müsse.

TEHRAN – With Israel’s colossal intelligence defeat during the Hamas weekend attack on the occupied territories, the regime seems to be bent on giving what Netanyahu has touted as a “historic” response to the Palestinian resistance. Based on what’s currently unfolding in the Gaza strip, this could very much mean that a potential genocide of Gazans has been put on the table by Israeli leaders.
Israel is currently bombarding Gaza with no letup. The regime, which has imprisoned Gazans in the world’s largest open-air jail for the past 16 years, has tried to “clamp down on Hamas” by killing and maiming civilians, including women and children. Hospitals, mosques, residential buildings and schools have been reduced to rubble in cities that were once vibrant with crowds of impoverished, but high-spirited people. Now, citizens must scour through the ruins of what was once called home, in a bid to find their loved ones.
“A massacre was committed last night by the occupying Israeli regime against the Shaldan family in Gaza, brutally murdering 11 Palestinian civilians, with babies without heads pulled out from the rubble,“ a local told Palestinian media on Wednesday. So far, 1,055 Palestinians have been massacred with 250 children among the dead.
Those who manage to flee the barrage of Israeli fire coming down on them morning, evening, and night, still have to enter a race against time in order to survive. Israeli officials have ordered a complete siege of the Gaza Strip, not allowing electricity, water, food, and medicine inside the war-torn region.
If a Gazan gets lucky and manages to survive several days without food or water, he or she might still be left with life-threatening ailments caused by Israel’s use of prohibited munitions. Several videos circulating online suggest Israel might be using white phosphorus bombs, whose use in civilian areas is considered a war crime, to strike civilian sites in northern Gaza.
But the collective punishment against the Palestinian population seems to presage a bigger disaster. “We are fighting with human animals and we will act accordingly,” Israel’s war minister Yoav Gallant told reporters on Sunday with no hint of shame or caution in his voice.
A report by the Tasnim news agency shows Israel might be preparing for not a partial massacre of Palestinians, but a full-on genocide. The regime is reportedly trying to cut off all sorts of communication in Gaza by targeting internet and telephone infrastructures before it launches a land offensive into the territory.
Despite all of the regime’s actions heralding a looming humanitarian disaster in Gaza, the self-appointed proponents of human rights have not only stayed silent on the horrifying crimes committed against Palestinians, but also helped spread misinformation about the resistance, all in Israel’s favor.
CNN, a leading flag-bearer of Washington’s propaganda campaigns, has been helping Israel pose as the victim in the ongoing conflict by releasing unfounded and unsupported reports of Hamas’ s alleged brutality in the battleground.
“Brutality of Hamas’ terror laid bare” are the first words readers laid eyes on when visiting the CNN website on Wednesday. The report focuses on the story of Israeli children who allegedly got beheaded by Hamas forces in an Israeli settlement. CNN draws a satanic picture of Hamas fighters by merely relying on quotations from Israeli soldiers. Some have drawn parallels with the babies that got removed from incubators by Saddam forces in Kuwait in the 1990s. CNN releases a report supported by no evidence while it chooses to ignore the harrowing images of the dead or wounded Palestinian children captured in Gaza almost every hour.
Another important piece of evidence CNN has decided to ignore is a female settler’s interview with Israeli media. The woman, whose home was raided by Hamas forces, has recounted her encounter with the Palestinian fighters in disbelief and awe; but not because she was assaulted. “The Hamas fighters entered my home. I said I have two children. One of them said ‘don’t worry we are Muslim. No one will hurt you’” the settler said, adding that one of the fighters asked for permission before he proceeded to eat a banana he took from the kitchen counter.
Western leaders have also expressed unequivocal support for Israel. Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has even condemned demonstrators who took to the streets of Canada in support of Palestine. “The glorification of death, and violence and terror has no place anywhere especially here in Canada,” said Trudeau while referring to Hamas as a terrorist organization and refusing to comment on the Palestinian lives that have so far been taken. Demonstrators in France were also attacked by security forces during their pro-Palestine rally.
Analysts believe Israel has decided to pursue a scorched-earth policy in its latest round of attacks against Gaza and the West is aiding the regime to the hilt.
A scorched-earth policy is a military strategy that involves the decimation of anything that allows the enemy to wage a war. It includes cutting water and food, exterminating humans and animals, and destroying plants and any kind of infrastructure.
Gaza might be wiped off the face of the earth through a second Holocaust and the West is helping that happen.

Standing alongside his partners in Israel’s newly announced war cabinet, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Wednesday pledged to obliterate Hamas, at the close of the fifth day of war against the terror group controlling the Gaza Strip. Hundreds of Hamas terrorists burst into southern Israel and carried out a devastating assault on Saturday, killing at least 1,200 people, most of whom were civilians, and many of whom were massacred.
“We will wipe out this thing called Hamas,” Gallant said in the Wednesday evening press conference. “Hamas — the Islamic State of Gaza — will be wiped from the face of the earth. It will not continue to exist. There will be no situation in which Israeli children are murdered and we all go about our business.”
Gallant described the Hamas onslaught as “the worst terror attack the world has ever seen.” And he cited “children bound together and murder, people burned, barbaric deeds that the Jewish people has not suffered since 1945.”
Speaking just before him, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also described the horrific killings and vowed that “every Hamas member is a dead man.”
Said Netanyahu: “We saw the beasts of prey. We saw the barbarians that we are facing. We saw a cruel enemy. An enemy worse than ISIS. We saw boys and girls, bound, shot in the head. Men and women burned alive. Young women raped and slaughtered. Fighters decapitated… In one place, they set fire to tires around them, and burned them alive.”
“How staggering the atrocity. How great the pain,” he said, but also cited the acts of heroism of those who fought the terrorists. Now, “we are fighting with full force, on every front; we have gone onto the attack.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Netanyahu and National Unity party head Benny Gantz announced that National Unity was joining Netanyahu’s hardline partners to form a “national emergency government.” As part of the arrangement, Gantz, Netanyahu and Gallant will form a war cabinet, and four more of Gantz’s party members will join the broader security cabinet. Opposition leader Yair Lapid has not joined the new partnership.
The dramatic shift in Israeli politics would have been considered unthinkable only days earlier, with Gantz locked in a national-stage battle against Netanyahu over his coalition’s efforts to shackle Israel’s judiciary. But Gantz and the prime minister said that they decided to put politics aside to unify efforts on behalf of the nation, after critics called out the pair for taking several days to hammer out details even as the scale of Hamas’s atrocities became clearer and the war continued.
“The Jewish nation is unified, and today its leadership is also unified,” Netanyahu said, in televised remarks alongside Gallant and Gantz. “We put aside every other consideration because the fate of our nation is at stake. We’ll work together, shoulder to shoulder, on behalf of the citizens of Israel, for the State of Israel,” he continued.
Also alluding to the need to quickly repair the rifts in Israel’s social fabric owing to nine continuous months of fighting over the boundaries of judicial and political power, Gantz delivered a similar message, saying that: “Our standing here, shoulders to shoulder, is a clear message to our enemies, and more important than that, a message to all of Israel, we are together, we’re all enlisted in this.”
Making a play on his own National Unity party name, which in Hebrew uses the word for “camp,” Gantz said that “at this moment there is only one camp – the camp of the State of Israel.”
“Our partnership isn’t political; it’s for the destiny of Israel,” Gantz added.
Gantz, a former Israel Defense Forces chief of staff and defense minister, made early overtures to join Netanyahu’s government on a temporary basis for the duration of the war, in part to sideline influence from extremist cabinet members like National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
Netanyahu has been criticized for not leaning on his security cabinet, which by law must include Ben Gvir and Smotrich’s positions, and alternatively for having placed the two lawmakers in sensitive posts.
The IDF’s stated goal for the broadening Israel-Hamas war is to destroy Hamas’s military capabilities. While Gallant did not explicitly say that the new war cabinet expects to widen that goal to removing Hamas as a civilian power, the war cabinet does have the authority to expand the military’s mission.
According to the thin agreement signed between Gantz and Netanyahu on Wednesday, the war cabinet can choose to, on its first meeting, “update, as necessary, military and strategic aims for the conflict,” subject to approval from the broader security cabinet.
Gantz said that “extraordinary actions” will be taken, and that “this war will provide security for years ahead for all of Israel.”
Since Saturday, Israel has hammered Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip with air strikes. In addition to more than 1,500 Hamas terrorists killed inside of Israel, the Hamas-run Health Ministry has reported more than 800 dead inside of Gaza. Israel has said it is targeting all areas where Hamas operates.
The prime minister, who said he has spoken with US President Joe Biden four times since the Saturday outbreak of war, cited “unprecedented” international support for Israel, including the US’s airlift of ammunition and promises to restock Iron Dome interceptors, as well its sending an aircraft carrier to the region.
Although the government has come under fire for failing to foresee Hamas’s brutal attack, the military’s relatively slow organized response to the ongoing atrocities, and the relative silence of government ministers in its immediate aftermath, Gantz said that it was most important now to focus on delivering “resolute answers on the battlefield,” rather than asking “hard questions.”
He also added that he “hopes” other opposition parties will join the government, and a place is said to be reserved for Yesh Atid party head Lapid.
Lapid made the first public overture to join Netanyahu’s government during wartime, but a source close to the Yesh Atid leader said Wednesday that there is no ongoing conversation to bring Lapid into the cabinet.
Yisrael Beytenu party chief Avigdor Liberman, who like Gantz and Lapid once sat in government with Netanyahu but today is a political rival, had also offered to join the government, without pre-conditions.
On Wednesday evening, the existing government approved appending National Unity ministers into the emergency government, and the decisions will be finalized by Knesset vote on Thursday.
The Knesset will convene to vote at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening to approve the addition of the five National Unity MKs to the security cabinet; Gantz, Gadi Eisenkot, Gideon Sa’ar, Chili Tropper and Yifat Shasha-Biton. The five will swear in as ministers immediately after the vote.

Inwieweit Netanjahu von einem „deserted island“ gesprochen hatte, zu dem man den Gaza machen wolle, scheint umstritten. Zumdinesetns rechnet Netanjahu, dass sic dieser Krieg monatelang hinziehen wird. Auch wenn Israel und die IDF die Gazabewohner aufruft, den Gaza zu verlassen, auch mit Karten, wohin sie sollen, erscheint dies doch sehr unwahrscheinlich, denn wohin sollen denn die 2 Millionen Menschen im gaza und auch ob die Hamas die Gazabevölkerung herauslassen wird, da sie diese wie jede Guerillaarmee in einem asymetrischen Krieg als menschliche Schutzschilde und Unterstützer braucht, „wie der Fisch im Wasser“ (Mao) , ja ihr auch blutige Bilder und Opfer gerade recht kommen, um die angebliche Brutalität und den „Gaza Holocaust“ propagandistisch zu illustrieren, wobei man hofft, dass sich da auch andere muslimische Länder radikalisieren und angesichts „häßlicher Bilder“angesichts des anstehenden Blutbads weltweit Emotionen und Mitleid zu schüren und die Israelsolidarität erodieren zu lassen, ja vielleicht dann doch auf ein Eingreifen Irans und der Hisbollah abzuzielen.
Natürlich ist Israelsolidarität auch und vor allem Thema in den USA. Diese scheint parteiübergreifend über die übliche AIPAC und 80 MIllionen US-Evangelikalen hinauszugehen, wobei Trump da etwas aus dem Rahmen fällt, da er Netanjahu kritisiert:

Former US president Donald Trump on Wednesday criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over what he described as a lack of preparation for a weekend attack by Palestinian Hamas militants that killed at least 1,200 people in Israel.
Speaking to Fox News, Trump, the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, said Netanyahu „has been hurt very badly“ due to the attack.
„He was not prepared. He was not prepared and Israel was not prepared. And under Trump, they wouldn’t have had to be prepared,“ he said.
Trump’s comments came as Israel was still collecting its dead and reeling from one of the most devastating attacks in its history. It has retaliated with air strikes on Gaza that have killed at least 1,200 Palestinians.
DeSantis responds to Trump’s allegations
One of Trump’s opponents in the Republican contest, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, criticized the former president over the comments.
„(It) is absurd that anyone, much less someone running for פresident, would choose now to attack our friend and ally, Israel,“ DeSantis wrote on social media.

Trump and Netanyahu had a close relationship during Trump’s time as president, though cracks have appeared in their once ironclad rapport.
Speaking to supporters in Florida on Wednesday evening, Trump again commented on Israeli security preparedness, pointing to „some of the things that went wrong over the last week.“
Trump added: „They’ve gotta straighten it out because they’re fighting potentially a very big force, they’re fighting potentially with Iran.“
Gallant responds to Trump attack
In a statement released on Thursday morning, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant appeared to attack Trump for his statement, in which he claimed the defense minister „hopes Hezbollah will not attack Israel from the North.

Was als mangelnde Israelloyalität kritisiert wird, könnte man aber auch so lesen, dass Trump meint, dass man sich nicht nur mit der Hamas anlegen sollte, sondern sich gleich mal den Iran samt Hisbollah vornehmen solle, was wohl Verteidigungsminister Gallant scheinbar zum jetzige Zeitpunkt eine Nummer zu groß ist und man auf ein Ausbleiben von Angriffen der Hisbollah und des Irans hofft.
Ebenso werden fragen gestellt seitens des US- Kongresses, dass Israel vom ägyptischen Geheimdienst 3 Tage vor dem Ravemassaker gewarnt wurde, dies aber scheinbar auf taube Ohren stieß, wobei dies bisher noch als „intelligence failure“ gedeutet wird und noch nicht wie auf etlichen Verschwörungsseiten als LIHOP (Let it happen on purpose) seitens Israels gemutmaßt wird, wie damals schon bei 9 11.

„We’re not quite sure how we missed it. We’re not quite sure how Israel missed it,“ said the US House Foreign Affairs chair.
US House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Michael McCaul told reporters on Wednesday that Egypt had warned Israel three days before Hamas’s assault on southern Israel that „an event like this could happen,“ according to US media.
„There seems to have been a failure of intelligence. We’re not quite sure how we missed it. We’re not quite sure how Israel missed it,“ said McCaul after a classified briefing about the war.
„We know that Egypt had warned the Israelis three days prior that an event like this could happen. We know this event was planned perhaps as long as a year ago,“ added the House Foreign Affair chair.
Series of reports claim Egypt warned Israel ahead of assault
McCaul’s statements come after a series of reports that Egyptian intelligence officials had sent warnings to Israel ahead of Hamas’s assault over the weekend.
On Monday, the Associated Press reported that an Egyptian intelligence official had said that Egypt had warned Israel repeatedly about “something big,“ but that this warning was downplayed as Israeli officials were focusing on the West Bank.
“We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon, and it would be big. But they underestimated such warnings,” said the official to the AP.
On Tuesday, Al-Monitor reported as well that senior Egyptian officials had warned Israel of an impending attack from Gaza, but that these warnings were not specific and not brought to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attention.
On Wednesday, the Financial Times cited two unnamed officials as stating that Egyptian intelligence repeatedly warned Israel that the situation in the Gaza Strip could „explode.“ The officials added that there was no hard intelligence about a specific attack and this was only a „general warning.“
The Prime Minister’s Office has denied the reports, calling them „absolutely false“ and stressing that „No message in advance has arrived from Egypt and the prime minister has neither spoken, nor met, with the head of Egyptian intelligence since the formation of the government, neither directly nor indirectly.“

Liegt die Nahostpolitik Bidens überhaupt in Trümmern oder nur diese? Nicht auch die von Trump? Ja, vielleicht auch schon die Nahostpolitik seit George W. Bush jrs. Irakkrieg 2003? Oder Netanjahus? Wird es im Wahlkampf eine US-Geißelaffäre wie 1980 im Iran geben , die Carter stürzte und Reagan samt Iran-Contradeal an die Macht brachte? Jedenfalls scheint der SPIEGEL-Kommentator da weniger die Schuld beim Iran, den Islamisten und der Hamas zu sehen.
Aber trotz Barbarei gibt es auch warnende Stimmen, die meinen Israel und auch die USA und der Westen sollten nicht dieselben Fehler wie beim Anschlag auf das World Trade Center begehen und sich unüberlegt in blindwütige Rachefeldzüge wie nach 9 11 hineinbegeben, bei denen man das Gegenteil des Erhofften bewirkt habe:

The terror attacks by Hamas against civilians who were in their homes and dancing at a concert are being called Israel’s Sept. 11, and that’s a fair comparison.
Let’s hope that Israel responds to this outrage more wisely than we in the United States did to the attack on our country.
There’s a lot of loose talk about eliminating Hamas, and Hamas deserves it. As a journalist who has traveled repeatedly to Gaza, I’m appalled by the sympathy that some Americans and Europeans have shown for a misogynist and repressive terror organization like Hamas. If you care about human rights, you want to see Hamas eliminated.
Yet dismantling terrorist organizations can be harder than it looks and can raise troubling moral questions about collateral damage. The Taliban also deserved elimination, yet in the end it was the United States that was eliminated from Afghanistan. I worry that Israel may charge into Gaza with a ground invasion as thoughtlessly as we plowed into Iraq.
Neal Keny-Guyer, a former chief executive of Mercy Corps, knows Gaza well and thinks it is possible for Israel to kill or capture most Hamas leaders. “But at what cost to civilian lives?” he asked me. He noted that street fighting might well spill over into an uprising in the West Bank and a war on the Lebanon border as well.
Gaza is half the size of New York City and home to some 2.2 million people, almost half of whom are children. Global sympathies are overwhelmingly with Israel in the aftermath of the terror attacks, as they should be, but will that be sustained if a ground invasion leads to thousands of Gazan children dying in house-to-house fighting?
Israelis grieving their dead may not care. The Israeli journalist Haviv Rettig Gur argues that the country has undergone a tectonic shift and is now determined to do what it takes, whatever the cost.
“A safe Israel can spend much time and resources worrying about the humanitarian fallout from a Gaza ground war; a more vulnerable Israel cannot,” he wrote in The Times of Israel on Sunday. Israeli officials have struck a similar tone.
“We are fighting human animals, and we are acting accordingly,” said the Israeli defense minister, Yoav Gallant. Another official was quoted as saying that Gaza would be turned into “a city of tents.”
Rabbi Jonathan Jaffe in Chappaqua, N.Y., issued an open letter noting that Jews have been traumatized by the terror attacks. “Now, Israel will act like any other country would if it was invaded by a bloodthirsty neighbor and its citizens murdered, tortured, kidnapped and mutilated,” he wrote. “And when the world inevitably protests the Jewish use of force, we won’t care.”
I empathize with that trauma and anger. Who can watch the video of Shani Louk, a 22-year-old woman kidnapped by Hamas and paraded half-naked and badly injured in Gaza, and not feel rage?
Yet this mood reminds me of the aftermath of Sept. 11 in the United States, when we sailed into trouble. I wrote column after column warning of the risks of invading Iraq, but Americans brimmed with pain, confidence and resolve. What we needed was a companion dose of humility.
The Middle East is an ongoing education in such humility. Israel originally helped nurture Hamas in Gaza because it thought religious leaders would hang out in the mosque and be less dangerous than nationalist ones. Likewise, Israel’s invasion of Lebanon in 1982 inadvertently laid the seeds for Hezbollah on the northern border.
There’s a reason that four successive Israeli prime ministers have chosen not to invade and occupy Gaza. Urban combat is a nightmare, whether for Americans in Falluja or Russians in Grozny, and civilian casualties are often enormous. That’s particularly true in a place like Gaza, where civilians cannot flee.
If we owe a moral responsibility to Israeli children, then we owe the same moral responsibility to Palestinian children. Their lives have equal weight. If you care about human life only in Israel or only in Gaza, then you don’t actually care about human life.
What that means in practice is difficult to navigate. Israel has a right to respond, and in war, civilians inevitably suffer.
“Today I woke up to see my neighborhood completely wiped off, including the building where I have my apartment,” Wafa Ulliyan, a Gazan aid worker who immigrated to Canada a few years ago, told me. “It became ashes.”
Ulliyan said she doesn’t want to see either Israelis or Palestinians targeted but just wants two states to live in peace. I’ve met plenty of people like her in Gaza — although of course there are also some who celebrate when rockets targeting Israel go off.
I flinch when I hear the defense minister refer to Palestinians as animals. Hamas dehumanized Israelis, and we must not dehumanize innocent people in Gaza.
There will be no optimal solution in Gaza, any more than there was in Afghanistan or Iraq. We are fated to inhabit a world with more problems than solutions, and it’s fair to feel conflicted about next steps. Israel will face hard choices in the coming weeks; its challenge will be to respond to war crimes without committing war crimes.
We don’t want to replicate in Gaza the approach reportedly expressed by an American Army major in Vietnam in 1968: “It became necessary to destroy the town to save it.”
The counsel we Americans should offer Israel is threefold and admittedly difficult to follow. First, Israel has right on its side when it goes after its assailants. Second, urban combat has a poor record in achieving its goals — and a considerable history of horrendous casualties. Third, if your moral compass is attuned to the suffering of only one side, your compass is broken, and so is your humanity.

Für China besteht die Kriegsursache in der ungelösten Palästinenserfrage, den Versuch, diese aus einem Israel-SA- Deal herauszuhalten, zudem in der US- Politik, die mittels Waffenlieferungen und Einmischung Konflikte verursache und anheize, damit auch ihr MIK an Waffenverkäufen verdient, daher brauche es erste einmal eine Deeskalation, einen Waffenstillstand und Verhandlungen über eine Zweistaatenlösung und einen unabhängigen Staat Palästina. Dass die Hamas keine Zweistaatenlösung, sondern die Auslöschung Israels will, ignoriert China wohlwissend.
China scheint mehr wegen des IMEECs besorgt auch wenn es die westliche Seidenstraße mit oder ohne Palästinakonflikt als „Luftschloss“ bezeichnet und hofft schadenfroh, dass damit die westlichen Pläne gegen Chinas Neue Seidenstraße und die US- Hegemonie im Greater Middle East weiter sinken wird, wie auch die USA vorerst sich China und dem Asian Pivot nicht wie gewünscht zuwenden können:

The outbreak of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has cast a shadow over the US‘ Middle East strategy. The India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC), which received Washington’s support at the G20 summit last month, was once touted as a Western competitor to the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). US President Joe Biden called it a „really big deal,“ while European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen boasted of a „green and digital bridge across continents and civilizations.“ Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the IMEEC as the „basis of world trade for hundreds of years to come.“ However, under the smoke of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, this economic corridor now appears to be nothing more than a „castle in the air.“
The feasibility of establishing the IMEEC is very low, and the outbreak of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has made this feasibility even smaller. The IMEEC is more of a political gesture. For the US, the fundamental purpose of building the IMEEC is to leverage the opportunity to win over Arab countries and achieve its own Middle East layout. The US also wants to engage in a great power competition with China and counter the BRI. If the current Israeli-Palestinian situation escalates and further causes a humanitarian crisis, then the US plan will be greatly affected. The current Israeli-Palestinian conflict has made everyone realize that without resolving the Palestinian issue, it is difficult to stabilize the Middle East.
The US is promoting the IMEEC in order to weaken China’s influence in the Middle East, but this is just wishful thinking. Arab countries aren’t willing to join the US-led confrontation between major powers. Li Weijian, a research fellow with the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, told the Global Times that many countries would not be willing to participate in the IMEEC if it were to lead them back into geopolitical conflicts. Long Xingchun, a professor at the School of International Relations at Sichuan International Studies University, believes that in light of the achievements accomplished through the BRI cooperation, which has earned China international recognition and reputation, the US aims to dismantle China’s platform by proposing alternative plans instead of genuinely desiring to establish an economic corridor.
In recent years, the US and the EU have proposed several plans to counter the BRI, such as „Build Back Better World“ and „Global Gateway.“ However, it is easy to create new words, but these new words often lack follow-up and quickly fade away after gaining attention from the global media. Whether it is the US, the EU, or India, they all hope to increase their influence through the IMEEC opportunity. However, none of these three parties have sufficient infrastructure construction capabilities. The construction of the IMEEC relies on railways and ports, and India itself has poor infrastructure. The US and the EU also face difficulties in providing financial support for infrastructure projects. Long said that the IMEEC is like a smoke bomb, just a new term being used to attract attention. It’s impossible to provide the Middle Eastern countries with an additional choice, added Long.
The IMEEC, like a „castle in the air,“ can only be used to „make empty promises,“ Li said. He believes that the Biden administration hopes to gain political resources by promoting this policy, but it doesn’t consider whether this plan can be implemented in the long run. Additionally, it is impossible for the US to expect Middle Eastern countries to abandon cooperation with China and lean toward this unrealistic plan.
The motivation behind the IMEEC is questionable, as its ultimate goal is to create geopolitical conflicts and engage in geopolitical games. Many countries are aware of this. The BRI sincerely aims to provide infrastructure development and assistance to developing countries. China advocates for a global community of shared future and promotes cooperation and win-win development. If the US truly wants to promote development, it should not exclude cooperation with China. Whether it is the EU, India, or Middle Eastern countries, their participation in the IMEEC is primarily driven by their own national interests. In such a situation, it is impossible to politically align oneself solely for the sake of the IMEEC.
