Operation Trojan Shield-a “Watershed for the elimination of organized crime”?

The Operation „Trojan Shield“ was a global raid against organized crime and is now called a “watershed for the elminiation of OC worldwide”. The information about it is a mosaic picture. It seems that Interpol, Europol under the leadership of the FBI and Australian law enforcement agencies initiated  a campaign which led to raids and the arrest of mafia members in 16 countries-from Europe to Latinamerica, the Middle East and Asia. However, already friends in South East Asia already spoke…

Germany´s Indo-Pacific strategy in theory and reality

Germany´s Indo-Pacific strategy in theory and reality

While Trump wanted to decouple the US economy from China and intensify the trade and tech war, Biden is pursuing a somewhat more moderate, but similar line as the original sanctions of the phase 1 agreement have now also been supplemented by further high-tech sanctions. Germany and the EU declared that they did not want a trade war with China, let alone a decoupling, and that they would see and treat China as a partner, competitor and systemic challenger on…

Clan crime – what is it actually?

Clan crime – what is it actually?

At the moment the word and catch phrase clan crime is very inflationary. Yesterday there was a detailed documentation about it on ZDF Info. I am currently discussing this with a friend of the Greens. The Miri and Zein Clan, who were refugees from the Lebanon War, are always mentioned as examples. More precisely, these mentioned Lebanese clans are originally Kurdish clans who first fled to Lebanon and then went to Germany. But it doesn’t matter, it could also be…

Chinese opposition: 1st Anniversary of the New Federal State of China and the hope for a reelection of Trump in 2024

Former General and Trump´s National Security adviser Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, Guo Wengui and a number of Chinese dissidents and  Trump supporters are celebrating the first anniversary of the founding of their selfproclaimed  phantasy state New Federal State of China. a kind of soap opera state with a Himalayan hymn. Guo Wengui is also a Buddhist and supposedly knows the Dalai Lama.  One week ago, Flynn also called for a military coup against Biden comparing the lost elections of the…

Gaokao, Chinese university in illiberal Orban-Hungary and academic freedom- More Western state funds for education instead of private or communist sponsors

Gaokao, Chinese university in illiberal Orban-Hungary and academic freedom- More Western state funds for education instead of private or communist sponsors

Every year for Chinese pupil there is the central examination, the Gaokao. The difference is that it is a huge central high school diploma and that much more depends on it than in Germany. It’s about who goes to which university (and whether at all), and since the universities are clearly ranked, life chances also depend on it. In Germany, only a very small proportion of students come up with the idea of choosing a university based on its quality….

Mexico after the elections- between necropolicy and the Fourth Transformation

Mexico after the elections- between necropolicy and the Fourth Transformation

Mexico held the biggest election in its history. It was preceded by a bloody battle for votes. And in the end, some election workers had a tough day. which Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador would later call a “triumph of democracy”, election workers made a terrible find in the northern Mexican border town of Tijuana. When they unlocked their polling station, they discovered the head of a decapitated citizen. Elsewhere, a severed head was placed in a box in…

Acid Arab and Counterjihad

Acid Arab and Counterjihad

In antifascist groups in the 90s  people often watched some inspiring movies like “Army of the Darkness”, “Fist”, etc. to prepare us for future battles against German fascists and neonazis. The same question appears for the counterjihad and the fight against Islamism. We want to present a music video of the genre Acid Arab by Gul l Abi featuring Awa which could become another inspiring counterjihad clip and ask the question: Could this become a recruiting video of Western intelligence…

Is the Green New Deal a mirage?

Is the Green New Deal a mirage?

It seems that a New Green Deal is proposed as the solution of all world problems. Peter Bierl in the German magazine Jungle World on June 3rd 2021 in his artcile “Dare less realism” (Wengiger Realismus wagen) questions the assumptions of that promise, compares it with Rossevelt´s New Deal and comes to the conclusion that the situation is different today, partly due to digitalization  and would need a new left which formulates realistic measures beyond the logic of capital accumulation…

Three child policy: Will China become a migrant country?

When the CCP and its mouthpiece Global Times and People´s Daily issued a loud official warning that the birthrate was far too low and China in danger to sacrifice its economic and geopolitical progress and maybe the hoped-for status of the new world power by demographic overaging, it became clear that the party had to do something and now it has proclaimed a three-child policy instead of a two- child policy and the former one-child policy. The Strait Times reports:…

From Infinity to Man- does the Kabbalah become scientific?

Reading the Kabbalah has become somehow fashionable and a trend in US entertainment business. Madonna does it, Britney Spears also is sid to “study”the esoteric writings of Kabbalah mysticism to gain an alleged deeper and secret understanding of truth and knowledge. Similar to Buddhism which has become fashionable among US Hollywood celbrities. Normally this already should deter anybody to take this too serious. Another form of esoteric, this time Jewish. However, the Jerusalem Post  promoted the new book by Eduard…

Will Lukachenkov hijack Biden´s and Putin’s plane before the summit?

In the run-up to a possible Biden-Putin meeting, Belarus dictator Lukachenkov hijacked a Ryan Air plane, which he justified as a diversion of the plane due to a bomb threat from Hamas and as a kind of anti-terrorist act and war on terror. Hamas immediately denies and as Israel is not trying to capitalize on Hamas either, it becomes apparent that Lukachenkov wanted to kidnap a Belarusian opposition member, the blogger from Nexta and a former employee of the CIA…

Gaza ceasefire-what comes next?

As expected Hamas and Israel claim victory in the Gaza war for themselves. Netanjahu claimed that Israel achieved its goal to liquidate many Hamas cadres, destroy the tunnel system and infrastructure of Hamas that the terrorist party won´t be able to start new attacks on Israel for the coming 5-7 years. Similar Yaakov Katz euphorically comments in the Jerusalem Post that Israel´s victory is outstanding,” like no other military operation in history” and would serve West Point and other military…
