The incidents that took place in Afghanistan in the mid of August 2021 drew attention of the whole world. How the fighters of the Taliban controlled the whole country in so less time? Was it possible by this group along with support of some like-minded groups only when the Afghanistani army was in more number with advanced weapons than them? Of course, not. It was not possible without backing of the internal traitors and external forces, particularly the neighbouring countries. Some countries stood with the Taliban, some were seen in the mood of wait and watch before making any comment and decision, some continued with the old perception of this group that it got identified with after hijacking Air India airbus in 1999 flying from Kathmandu to Delhi for getting their three terrorists released from Indian prison and the second incident of blowing up 6th century statues of Buddhas of Bamiyan in March 2001. The whole world had already witnessed the atrocities of the Taliban against the people of Afghanistan, particularly against women under its previous rule. It’s coming back to the power again through such a route in this globalized, advanced and modern age and in presence of the United Nations and so called superpowers raises many questions. It clearly indicates the dual mindset of the people of the same land and the government army as well as of the neighbouring countries. When any country is disturbed by internal or external forces, many other countries get affected by it. The whole world noticed the courage of the Taliban and compared it with that of the superpowers and all international bodies that boast of human rights and global peace. Can such kind of silence bring global peace? Of course, never. This is the right time to make the UN realize its duties and responsibilities for the sake of global harmony that it failed to establish in the Middle East countries and we saw the unforgettable cries and tears of numerous innocent men, women and children. Many of them sought shelter in the USA and some other countries losing their roots and everything earned for years by them and their ancestors. A common cause of all such incidents and wars is propagation of conservative Islamic religious belief and establishment of the long forgotten social order with total exclusion of women from their rights. Oil wars also play dominant role in bringing disasters.

Misunderstanding and misquoting the religion by self-proclaimed custodians of faith give birth to misleading religious orders not suited to modern age. These enemies of humanity have the mission to proliferate their followers to change the world again to the Stone Age. Blood bath brings smiles on their faces and progressive approach to life causes enmity. Such a trend has become common in many countries including India. Without uprooting such dangerous belief from the minds of misled people and instead developing modern approach to life stable peace, prosperity and brotherhood will remain the subjects of imagination only. The developed and developing countries should come closer together on the ground of humanity and forget their power politics. They can’t leave any country in a pitiable condition.

Globalization was welcomed by many nations and its side-effects were also imagined. Today the same imagination has become reality. The market of developed countries flourishes in the developing and underdeveloped countries. It has also created a dangerous divisive politics, blame game and cold war among their present and future competitors. The interdependence among nations created by globalization has gradually fashioned nationalism. Unfortunately, it has been intensified in India as ultra-nationalism. Its results have often become the cause of extremism in every field that cannot be compensated and forgiven in any way. Religion in its true sense has not been welcomed by the masses in any country. In most of the cases blind faith and superiority complex have given birth to obnoxious practices. Why and how a religion evolved that never became the subjects of discussion, instead superiority of one over another is often emphasized. Such ideology blocks the road leading to fraternity and prosperity. The confluence of religion and ultra-nationalism engenders engineered crimes often observed in many countries. Sometimes they become issues of debates and discussions at many platforms including national and international media but forgotten forever. Hiding the heinous crimes committed in the name of religion and nationalism has become the most dangerous mindset of the people in those countries in which media becomes a tool in the hands of those in power. Fear of law or God has become a part of pretension, not a part of practice.

The hatred and enmity based on race, ethnicity, religious practice, high, low, caste and creed need to be abolished in order to establish peace and prosperity and improve the living standard of citizens of all nations. It is high time for the world leaders to come together for the common cause and save the world from deep wounds inflicted on it again and again for selfish motives.
